Hiring a trailer is straightforward, but there are a few things you will need in place first.
A valid goods vehicle operator's licence covering the trailer.
Your own insurance covering the hired trailer. We will ask for a copy of your insurance certificate before the hire begins.
A vehicle suitable and rated to tow the trailer.
Planned maintenance inspections can be handled by us or by you, whichever you prefer. Just let us know when you book.
If you are unsure whether you meet these requirements, call us and we will talk it through.
Our hire fleet covers low loaders and step extenders, flatbeds, curtainsiders and Hiab stepframes, for use across any legal route in the UK.
Our low loader hire trailers are suited to heavy plant, machinery, and abnormal width or height loads. The dropped deck minimises overall height, keeping tall loads within standard restrictions. The step extender configuration is ideal for longer items such as bridge beams, structural steel, and large plant.
A 3-axle flatbed with a 13.6 metre deck, plus a shorter 10 metre urban option for tighter sites and city deliveries. The open platform suits steel, timber, containers and building materials that load by crane or forklift from any side, with full top, side and rear access. A versatile workhorse trailer for loads that do not need weather protection.
A 3-axle curtainsider with a 13.6 metre deck and various internal clearance heights. The side curtains pull back for fast loading and unloading along the full length of the trailer, while keeping the load protected from the weather. Suited to palletised freight, mixed loads and commercial deliveries across Wales and the UK.
A 13.6 metre stepframe trailer with a 9 metre loading deck. The stepped lower deck gives the height clearance needed for taller loads while keeping a stable platform for crane-assisted loading. Designed for use with Hiab crane units, it is the right choice when loads are placed by crane rather than driven or forklift-loaded.
Our hire trailers are based in North Wales and available for collection from our yard. We can also deliver and collect across Wales, the wider UK and Northern Ireland for an additional charge. Speak to us about your location and we will confirm the cost.
